Core stack & wind
Lamination stacking, primary + secondary winding to the calculated turns. Done at the bench, by hand.

Assembly & finish
Frames, brackets, covers, terminals or PVC connectors per your finished style. Markings applied.

Test under load
Every unit tested. 200%/half-hour, 150%/hour, 125%/4-hour overload tolerance is the acceptance criterion.

Started in 1979. Still in the same workshop.
TRANSFONIX LTD is a family-run manufacturer in Larnaca, Cyprus. Established 1979. Six to ten people, all with deep experience on the bench.
We make dry-type transformers — current, voltage, power — from 2VA to 60KVA. Standard catalogue when standard fits; custom-built when it doesn't. Single piece or production run, no minimum quantity, no Letter of Credit required for small and medium orders.
Twelve years into the company, we started exporting to the Gulf. The high-temperature performance the climate demanded became our acceptance test — and that's still the test today.
