4 complete wine novices had a fantastic wine tasting with Sergios at The Oak Tree Wine Cellar & Tasting Room in Larnaca. Even before we arrived Sergios reached out to check we could find the venue ( just a short walk from the historic Church of Saint Lazarus.) The venue was beautifully decorated we sat amongst the wine as if in a wine cellar. Sergios made us very welcome and put us at ease. Time flew (2 hours) as he expertly guided us through each wine. (10 distinct Cypriot wines plus 1 local spirit/liqueur and we opted for the cheese board which complimented the wines perfectly.) He was very passionate, knowledgeable and welcomed our questions. We were a little apprehensive about going but we're so glad we did as it was a real highlight of our stay in Larnaca. There was no hard sell at the end , we left extremely happy with lots of new knowledge and a couple of bottles of delicious Cypriot wine. We would highly recommend for anyone who would like an insight to Cypriot wine.

We absolutely loved this place! It’s the perfect spot to discover and enjoy Cypriot wines. We joined a wine tasting with a great selection of local white, red, rosé, and sweet wines, and everything was explained in a friendly and enjoyable way. We also came back another afternoon just to relax with a glass of wine, and it was just as lovely. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff are incredibly welcoming, and the wine selection is excellent. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Larnaca, whether you want to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner or experience a tasting of authentic Cypriot wines.

We have been to Larnaca twice, 3 years apart. Both times we came to the place for wine tasting. The place is beautiful and with a design and selection of wines that would put any store in classical Europe to shame. The owner of the place is very nice with fluent English and the wine tastings he leads are very enriching and detailed. We tasted about 10 Cypriot wines in tastings that lasted about an hour. Delicious crackers were served alongside the wine. Highly recommend to anyone in Larnaca to stop by and do some wine tasting.

We absolutely loved the tasting. The wine selection is really well curated and it’s the perfect way to discover local Cypriot wines. The best part was the staff. Super friendly and knowledgeable. They shared so many interesting things without ever making it feel like a lecture. We learned a lot and had such a great time. The value for money is amazing. Great local wines, lovely people and an experience I’d 100% recommend.
